Photography is a beautiful art that captures moments and emotions in a way that nothing else can. It has the ability to tell stories, evoke feelings and create memories that will last a lifetime. As a photographer, being able to share your work with others who appreciate and understand the craft is a truly rewarding experience. That’s why I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to talk to during event about my photography journey and dance photography.
Photography is a journey, and each photographer’s path is unique. We all have different experiences, perspectives and stories to tell through our images. However, there are a few key principles that can help guide us along the way. One of these is the importance of finding and capturing the essence of your subject.
It was such an amazing experience to do a 2h presentation of my journey in Dublin on Tuesday 7th of March at the Tallaght Photographic Society
Whether it’s a landscape, a person or a moment in time, every subject has a story to tell. As dance artist photographers, it’s my job to find that story and convey it through our images. This can involve experimenting with different angles, lighting and composition to bring out the unique qualities of the subject.
